Episode 2

The Enem—*gets interrupted by a loud “Hey!”*

Ryoko Blue: Ugh what is it now?

Ryouga: I heard this rumor about you pairing my Sasami with some other guy, is that true?

Ryoko Blue: Yes, it’s true.

Ryouga: What!?  But whenever you write crossovers Sasami is my girl.

Ryoko Blue: Aww, I’m sorry Ryouga, but you’re not in this one.

Ryouga: But that’s impossible, I’m you’re favorite Bishounen I’m always in your writings.

Ryoko Blue: Well this time I decided not to cross with Ranma ½ and to pair her with Sesshomaru *Grins*

Ryouga: You’re so mean to me, pairing her with that, that...

Ryoko Blue: Very sexy demon?

Ryouga: That wasn’t what I was going to say *Grumbles*

Ryoko Blue:  *Laughs* Now that you’re done complaining on with the show...

Episode 2

The Enemy Is Mine!!

Ryoko was hovering five inches above the ground her weapon pointing menacingly at her enemy. She was going to protect Sasami. No one was going to hurt her while she was around. Since Tenchi was not here it was up to her to make sure nothing happened to Jurai’s future queen. Now if it were Ayeka standing here she probably would just be smirking and watching the show but then Ayeka could take care of herself.

“Ryoko, calm down, no need to take arms off just yet,” Sasami said looking over at her floating friend. “And besides I don’t need you to protect me.”

“Sasami, I may be the universes most wanted but I still know when to help a friend in need and this guy here I’m sure will kill you for the jewels that Tenchi gave us. So I will also defend the jewels for Tenchi’s sake.” Ryoko never took her eyes from the enemy.

While the two girls were distracted a loud whack was heard, “Inuyasha leave them alone.”

Ryoko’s head jolted towards the voice and saw that something rather large had knocked that dog eared boy to the ground. He was growling and Ryoko couldn’t help but snicker. She looked right at two people. One looked like a holy man and one was a woman who was standing by his side her arms were crossed and she was staring down shaking her head in what seemed like disappointment.

“What did you do that for Sango!?” The dog eared boy called Inuyasha shouted rubbing the back of his head, and jumping up. “That human has jewel shards!”

“Still, that is no way to treat ladies.” Miroku said calmly, his eyes were calming and kind.

Ryoko stood on the Earth again and her weapon seemed to disappear. “So tell me, are you in charge of this mutt?” She heard Inuyasha growl and make a frustrated noise.

“I’m not a mutt!” He glared at her. “And no one is in charge of me.” He grumbled crossing his arms in front of him.

“Forgive his rudeness,” Miroku reached up and took Ryoko’s hand apologetically which earned him a suspicious look from her. “He knows not how to treat the gentle female species.” His gaze narrowed in on her cleavage that was exposed to his sight and then he looked right into her amber eyes. “As I have saved your life from this half demon I think its right fitting I should receive your thanks in the form of barring my child.”  He said quite calmly.

Ryoko ripped her hand from his pulling her arm back and downwards, her red gem in her wrist began to glow “Why you!” her eyes narrowing into very angry slits.

“Ryoko, no!” Sasami grabbed her friends arm. “Don’t kill him.”

“I’m going to knock him from here to Jurai!” A golden ball of energy was forming in her hand.

Miroku was next to go head first into the ground Sango had whacked him in the head with her large boomerang. “Ugh!! You are such a pervert.”

The golden ball of energy seemed to fizzle out and Ryoko started calming down she looked at the woman. “Hey, I didn’t need your interference.”

Sango looked up at Ryoko. She noticed that her legs would have been bare if it were for the red tights she was wearing. At least she was covered except for her very generous bosom. Sango clutched the material around her neck subconsciously. “I didn’t do it for you I did it because that monk deserved it.” She glared down at Miroku who had made a good recovery and was sitting up. The strange color of this girls’ hair made her wonder if they were some kind of demons. She would be ready for anything. She held the leather on her boomerang good and tight in case something arose and she had to take action.

“Could you tell us what happened to the houses and streets and the lights. It’s like everything is gone.” Sasami said looking around and the focusing on Sango. She definitely did not look like someone who lived in Tokyo. She was dressed in clothing which they would wear on her home world.

The Monk was quickly to his feet and at Sasami’s side smiling at her, “I think I can answer your questions.” He looped his arm around hers. “First of all do you know a young woman who looks about your age, her name is Kagome?” He saw the blue haired beauty nod quickly.

“Yes, we just met her today.” Sasami said wondering what this man was looking at she noticed his eyes were upward towards her forehead. “Excuse me, what are you staring at?”

Miroku shook his head, “Nothing except that.” He lightly touched the green triangle mark on her forehead. “You’re not an evil demon disguised as a beautiful woman are you?”

Sasami glared, “Stop trying to flatter me.” She pulled her arm from his grasp.  “I’m not a demon, but she is.” She pointed to Ryoko who had her arms folded just below her bust.

Ryoko’s head snapped to the left and feeling a presence she jumped back into a tree automatically appearing in a very skin tight red and black bodysuit and her with her saber ready to strike and pulsing with energy.

“Ryoko!? What is it?” Sasami said looking up at her friend when a blast seemed to come out of no where knocking everyone who was still standing to the ground. She disappeared into the trees and Sasami jumped to her feet opening her back pack she quickly pulled out a small stick which was a retractable staff.  She pulled it to its full length and chased after Ryoko.

Inuyasha wasn’t far behind the cyan haired demon as he watched her streaking through the air at an enormous pace. He was jumping from tree branch to tree branch.  Ryoko stopped in mid air looking around. She hovered lower towards the trees to catch the feeling of her enemy. She heard the dog eared boy come to a stop nearby.

“Do you smell that?” He looked at Ryoko through the corner of his eye cautiously.

She shook her head, “No, I don’t smell things I can sense them.”

“Do you even know who or what you are chasing?”

Ryoko turned her amber gaze staring right into his, “Stay out of my way dog boy.”

He growled, “Why don’t you stay out of mine? Clearly you are out of your element here. Since you came out of that well you have no idea what you have gotten yourself into.”

“Shut up, will ya?” Ryoko looked around, feeling the presence again. “That way!” She took off.

Inuyasha was clearly picking up the scent of Naraku as the two of them closed in on him. “What are you chasing my enemy for?”

“I don’t know just something feels familiar like I need to kill it.” They both reached the baboon hooded and cloaked man standing in the clearing.

“You have a jewel shard,” the baboon said, “I must obtain it from you.”

Ryoko stood on the ground approaching cautiously lifting her weapon, “Over my dead body!” She shouted and ran to attack the baboon but it moved out of her way back and forth as if it were playing with her. His moves felt familiar. “Ugh stay still you asshole!”

The baboon seemed to grow rather large and produced many tentacle looking arms. It knocked her out of the air and she hit the ground with a loud thud and another tentacle came down holding her in place. Ryoko gritted her teeth and struggled against the force this creature was using. She was building up great energies from one of her hands.

Inuyasha was soon joined by Sasami as she was using the skill that Yosho had been teaching her on the arms that held Ryoko to the ground. She then jumped up and climbed higher and hit the baboon in the head. He threw Sasami off and she hit the ground from a long way up. She made an uncomfortable grunt. Two of the arms came down holding her in place as well. Inuyasha was still cutting and slicing at the many arms of Naraku he had no time to help the two strangers.

Two of the tentacle arms came up and the tips closed around the jewel shards around Sasami and Ryoko’s neck and snapped the chain pulling the shards away from them.

“Give that back!!” Ryoko shouted so all of Japan could hear. She lifted her hand and blasted at the baboons head it simply grazed him knocking the pelt off. They finally looked into the eyes of their enemy who seemed to be smirking at them.

“Thank you ladies,” Their enemy said almost too politely.

Sasami gasped as the jewel that her Tenchi gave her was in the arms of that evil creature. A blue light surrounded her body which was causing the tentacles to loose their hold on her. A giant flash of blinding white light seemed to surround them. It was enough for her to get free and their enemy had vanished with the word ‘Tsunami’ whispered on the wind.

When the light had cleared Ryoko was glaring at the ground, “How dare that, that thing!” She jumped up, “Steal what was mine!”

“It wasn’t yours to begin with.” Inuyasha said walking over to her rubbing his eyes as they started to focus with the normal sunshine again. “And if it weren’t for your damn meddling I would have killed him!”

Miroku and Sango heard Inuyasha shouting again and rushed through the woods to where they were all standing.

“What happened, what did we miss?” Miroku said catching his breath.

Inuyasha looked at Miroku “Oh just a shot at killing Naraku.”

“It wouldn’t have been him in the flesh anyway you know that.” Sango looked at Ryoko who was back in her other clothing. She wondered how in the world she did that and so quickly.

“But still these two got in the way and he took two more shards to add to his collection.” The silver haired boy shouted glaring at the two girls.

“You shut up! I don’t know who or what you are but I will kill you where you stand!” Ryoko snarled.

Sango got in between them “All right come on you two, I know we are all strangers here but we don’t have to be. We can get along and we very well should since you and your friend are now stuck here with us.”

“What do you mean?” Sasami turned to Sango.

Miroku pushed his fingers together, standing very calmly “Well Kagome usually passes through the well and what allows her to do this are the scared jewel shards that she carries. But if Naraku now has the ones you had in your possession then you two are stuck here.”  He heard a faint meow which was getting louder as it got nearer to him. Ryo-Ohki jumped out of the woods and hurried over to Sasami.

She kneeled down picking up the cabbit feeling around in the fur she pulled on a jewel shard from within the white patch on Ryo-Ohki’s chest. “So these things allow people to pass through?” Sasami looked at the three strangers. “And to where exactly did we travel too?”

“The past,” Kagome said, “At least five hundred years, to the feudal era of Japan.”

Tenchi, along with the others of his group’s, jaws seemed to drop in shock.

“So you’re telling me that you have been passing through that well for almost a year now? Going back and forth between the Feudal era and the present and that my friends are there right now?” Tenchi said looking at Kagome.

“Yes, that is right.” Kagome smiled when he had finally understood. “I suppose we better go and get your friends back.”

Washu was pacing back and forth, “I think I would like to see this past of yours. Perhaps we should all go and stay for a few days.”

Kagome shook her head, “You wouldn’t want too. It is very dangerous; there are demons all over the place.”

Ayeka scoffed, “Lady Kagome, we live with a demon and we can handle her just fine. I want to know if my sister is safe I am going where ever you go.”

“Ryoko and Sasami need me. You will not leave me behind.” Tenchi said. He would never let anything happen to any of the girls he lived with. Sasami was so sweet and innocent that he feared for her life. He also feared for all of the people in Feudal Era since Ryoko was very dangerous herself. She usually strikes first and then asks questions.

Kagome sighed, “Well if you all insist on coming along I suppose it wouldn’t be too bad if you stayed around for a day or two. But at the first sign of danger you must all leave and go back to the present. Also when you finish your trip to the past I will need all of your jewel pieces hanging from your neck.”

“Because they are a part of the sacred jewel?” Mihoshi yawned.

“Yes, that’s right. Will you all excuse me? I should go retrieve my pack, I’ll be but a moment.” Kagome took off in a run towards the house.

Tenchi turned to his relatives, “Dad, Grandpa you two stay here.”

Yosho nodded, “Tenchi, remember your training and protect the girls. If you are gone too long I will come after you, for I still have the shard that you gave to me.”

“Ah, my son going off to go camping with the girls, all alone.” Nobiyuki smiled. “And me without my video camera, just remember to do everything I would do.” He grinned.

“Dad!” Tenchi said, a blush rising to his cheeks. “Nothing like that is going to happen.”

Kagome quickly returned to the group adjusting her back pack. “All right, follow me.” She led them to the well and jumped in. The rest of the group followed.

Next time on Ancient Deceptions:

Naraku stood facing the Lord of the Western Lands, Sesshoumaru.  “There are two who hold extreme power within the palms of their hands, I want that power.”

Sesshoumaru looked impassive. “I do not see why you have sought me out for your foolish desires.”

“Because I can use you, you can bring them to me at my palace.”

“Why would I do that?” Sesshoumaru said with no emotion.  “You do realize that half breeds do not use one such as I.”

“If you bring me the women, I will grant you what you desire most” He paused for a dramatic effect   “The Tetsusaiga…”
